Hey kittens, get your Santa hats on because here’s the second instalment of my Christmas 2013 Gift Guide series. Every Monday, I’m putting together a collection of my top gift picks and for my second of these posts, I thought I’d start with some products I personally use every day and so can highly recommend, each in their own way…

1. Clinique CC Cream
After hunting high and low for a BB cream that was pale enough for my ghostly skintone, I finally purchased one up – the NEW Moisture Surge CC Cream SPF 30 Hydrating Colour Corrector in Very Light. No exaggeration when I say I literally wear this every day; it’s just the right balance between a tinted moisturiser and a foundation and ideal for slapping on before work. Plus, they do SO many different shades there’s bound to be one to suit everyone.

2. Korres Lip Butter
The legendary Korres Lip Butter is the perfect gift for any beauty belle. Bloggers have raved about this product since it was first introduced and I can understand why – this is pretty much the best lip balm I’ve ever used. So hydrating, smells amazing and comes in a range of beautiful shades with just the right amount of subtle pigment. The Wild Rose colour is the ideal festive shade.

3. Illamasqua Hydra Veil
This primer is ideal for any makeup buff, designed to be rehydrating under cosmetics and still, being from Illamasqua, is probably unusual enough to be a new try for them. Hydra Veil is pretty much what it says on the tin (or, er, tub) and I love it.

4. Neal’s Yard Beauty Balm
The Wild Rose Beauty Balm from Neal’s Yard is a lovely gift idea for a woman (or man, whatever floats ya boat) of any age. Whether your giftee is into make-up or not, this lovely cleanser-come-moisturiser is so fragrant and moisturising that is designed to restore skin to its natural radiance.

5. HealGel
Again, like no.4, this is a gift for a lady of any age. HealGel Face contains all sorts of good stuff including a unique blend of Omega Oils to replenish dehydrated skin and restore elasticity. Designed to plump and tighten the skin, this might be a good idea for your Momma (or mother-in-law, as long as she doesn’t get too offended about using an anti-ageing product).

6. Bioderma Sensibo H20
After first blogging about Bioderma in my London Fashion Week beauty essentials post, I’ve become literally obsessed with the brand. Since then, I’ve gone on to try more products from the Sensibo range and have been so impressed, I’m going to be asking for more for my own Christmas present! I’ve now trialled a full size Bioderma Sensibio H20, the Bioderma Sensibo Eye Contour Gel and the Bioderma Sensibio Anti Redness Cream. Never have I had such an amazing cleansing routine. I am IN LOVE with this skincare range – seriously, get the whole lot and make your missus dead happy.

7. Elemis Peachy Perfect Gentle Facial Wash
Say ‘hello’ to my favourite morning facial wash. Part of the Elemis Fresh Skin range designer for we younger ladies, the Peachy Perfect facial wash is just as gentle as it claims to be and I use every morning before moisturising. If you’re looking for something a little more gift-like, try giving your loved one the FreshSkin discovery set – a handful of lovely minis to try Elemis for themselves.

8. Imperial Leather Foamburst
As per my previous review on the full range of the brand new Imperial Leather Foamburst showergels, I’ve re-fallen in love this this luxurious set of washing items. All of the scents are just gorgeous and the new look bottles make for the perfect looking gift.

9. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery
Since attending Kiehl’s blogger event a few months ago, I’ve been lucky enough to try a few of their skincare items out. Aside from the world famous Skin Rescuer they’ve just launched, their Midnight Recovery has stayed a firm favourite with the general public – an ideal anti-ageing gift for ladies worried about their complexion.

10. Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Cream
I’m an absolute hand-cream addict. Since being bought my first hand cream for Christmas last year (I KNOW, how did I survive before?) I keep one at my work desk, on my bedside table and in my handbag constantly and moisturise my hands and nails religiously. A bit OTT, but every gal loves a good handcream and Crabtree & Evelyn do some fantastic gift sets for the ladies in your life.
