Hey kittens, Happy Friday! It’s officially the weekend (well, it is for me anyway!) and today I thought I’d show you one of my favourite, secret places in Manchester to visit at the weekend. As I’ve let you all in on before, I’m a massive geek at heart. Not a science and mathsy type geek, but I love literature and history and nature. And where’s my favourite place in Manchester to indulge in that? Manchester Museum.

These amazing pictures were taken at one of the natural galleries in Manchester Museum and I absolutely love them. If you are ever at a lose end in Manchester, I’d definitely recommend a visit to this Museum, which is part of the University of Manchester. This display of paper birds is nestle amongst real life, taxidermy birds and animals. Super cute. And a cute museum day called for a cute outfit, with this floral midi dress being the perfect demure look – casual yet smart and kinda makes me feel a bit intelligent, too.
