Outfit of the Day: Ombre Playsuit

Floral Crown: Manchester market – Playsuit: Madam Rage  – Necklace: Primark
Watch: H Samuel – Shoes: Ravel

Hi kittens, hope y’all are all good? As we’re getting to the end of summer (at least, here in good ole’ Mancunia we are) I’m taking the time to make the most of the fleeting sunshine and get my pins out in any which way I can. Well, not every way. You know what I mean.

Like my last Outfit of the Day, this look reminds me of something almost fairytale-ish. I’m not sure if it’s the way the nude colour of the playsuit and shoes blends in with my rather ghostly skin, or the pops of colour in the floral crown and green ombre, but there’s definitely something unusual about it. In fact, I had to pop in this close up just to confirm that I wasn’t in the buff. Lord above, wouldn’t subject you kitty cats to that! Infact, I’m wearing this gorgeous dip-dye playsuit from one of my favourite online boutiques, Madam Rage. They never fail to disappoint in quality or cuteness.

As I’m so pale that do have a tendency to look ghostly when wearing pastel colours (or, as my Grandma lovingly told me, “ill”) I had to inject a pop of colour into the outfit with my bargainous floral crown from my local market. I also think it helps to add to the “fairytale” look of the outfit, especially when in all this greenary. I was prancing about like a little garden pixie – sounds like cute activity, but it was probably a lot less flattering in real life!

For my other accessories, I chose my favourite pair of nude heels – these pointed court shoes from Ravel – with little bows on the tippytoes. Heck, I’m a poet and I didn’t even know it! Right okay, lets get back to business. The nude colour of the shoes are a near perfect match for my skin, helping to elongate the legs (well, I like to think so) and the rose gold bows match perfectly with my artdeco necklace and watch that I chose to wear. I decided on rose gold instead of classic gold in an effort to pick up the warmer tones in my skin – not sure it paid off, but worth a go, hey?

So kittens, what do y’all think of this ombre playsuit? An unusual way to wear the ombre trend, eh?Leave me a comment below and let me know! And don’t forget to follow me on Twitterlike my Facebook page and subscribe to my Youtube channel to keep up to date with all things fashion!
